Maria Margarida Dinis Rézio é socióloga. Doutorada em Sociologia Urbana, Território e Ambiente, em 2012, com uma investigação sobre "Transformação urbana e vivência termal: Caso das Caldas da Rainha", pela FCSH da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Concluiu no CEHR, em 2018, Pós-doutoramento em História Religiosa, com uma investigação em torno da fundadora da Congregação das Religiosas Concepcionistas ao Serviço dos Pobres: "Espaço e Espiritualidade da Madre Maria Isabel da Santíssima Trindade: o caso de uma congregação religiosa de vida activa, Elvas c.1923 – c.1962". Mestre em Sociologia do Crime Violência e Segurança Interna em 2005, com uma investigação sobre “Cidade, Espaço Social e Formação profissional”, em 2005, pela FCSH da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Licenciatura em Sociologia, com uma investigação em “Exclusão no Acesso aos Cuidados de Saúde em Meio Rural”, em 2001, pela UAL de Lisboa. Funcionária Pública do Ministério da Saúde entre 1974/2012.

Degree in Sociology, with an investigation in "Exclusion in the Access to Health Care in Rural Environment", in 2001, by UAL of Lisbon. Public Official of the Ministry of Health between 1974/2012
