Cátia Tuna é doutorada em História (especialidade de História e Cultura das Religiões) pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa (2020) e é mestre em Teologia pela Faculdade de Teologia da Universidade Católica Portuguesa (2012). A sua tese de doutoramento intitulou-se «“Não sei se canto se rezo”: ambivalências culturais e religiosas do fado (1926-1945)» e recebeu o Prémio Fundação Mário Soares – Fundação EDP e o Prémio Victor de Sá de História Contemporânea (ambos em 2020). A sua dissertação de mestrado teve como tema «A voz na Bíblia: entendimento das vozes de Deus e do homem a partir dos conceitos literário-teológicos qôl e fonê». Foi bolseira de doutoramento da Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (2013-2017). É professora auxiliar convidada da Faculdade de Teologia da Universidade Católica Portuguesa. É membro do Centro de Estudos de História Religiosa (UCP-CEHR) no qual integra presentemente o projeto de investigação «Servas de Nossa Senhora de Fátima: História de uma Congregação Feminina».
Cátia Tuna holds a PhD in History (History and Culture of Religions) by Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon (2020) and a Master’s Degree in Theology by Faculty of Theology of Catholic University of Portugal (2012). Her doctoral thesis was entitled «“I don’t know whether I’m singing or praying”: cultural and religious ambivalences of Fado (1926-1945)» and received the «Mário Soares Foundation - EDP Foundation Award» and the «Victor de Sá Award in Contemporary History» both in the year 2020. Her master’s dissertation was on the theme «The voice in the Bible: the path of understanding the voices of God and man from the literary-theological concepts qôl and fonê». She was a doctoral fellow of the Science and Technology Foundation (2013-2017). She is invited assistant professor of Faculty of Theology of Catholic University of Portugal. She is member of the Centre of Religious History Studies (UCP-CEHR) in which integrates at present the research’s project «Servants of Our Lady of Fatima: a Female Congregation’s History».
